So here goes mine..........

Since Kim was on the subject of husbands let me tell you the sorta "opposite" of her story.
I had gone out for dinner and a few beverages with a friend of mine.  I come home and Robbie (a.k.a. said husband) has let our two girls fall asleep in our bed.  So in my "kick'in" wedge heels I go get our 6 year old from our bed while she is sleeping DEAD weight and carry her to her bed.  As I am walking across the house (ALL hardwood) my two very rambunctious dogs are doing their little fighting tumble weeds thingy through the house......can you see where I am going?  Anyway, as I am walking tall in my shoes across hardwood, carrying dead weight, my dogs tumble weed and knock both of my feet from under me and I land VERY hard flat on my back with my dead weight daughter on top of me (thank goodness she is my preemie that will never be any more than in the 5th percentile on the growth charts).  We land about 5 step from my husband and my daughter starts to cry.  He jumps up and picks up my daughter - who is unharmed but startled because she was sleeping - and starts asking her if she is okay and takes her to her bed. Meanwhile..... back at the ranch (just kidding i just wanted to say that). MEANWHILE I am laying on the floor on my back and it's like he never even saw me much less ask if I was okay.
The reason I am telling you this.....well Kim gave me a deadline to write the blog (she is such a slave driver ) but it was actually kinda funny and I was fine (I know you were all just as concerned as Robbie ; )

The First Time...

So ... no excuses for the absence!!!
Frame biz is still going really well,

Michelle has had to travel with her
J to the O to the B,
and for the first time EVER....
I went out of town leaving my husband with my babies!
Yep... you read it right. Never!!!!
Now...if you know my husband you will understand,
for those who don't, well let me enlighten you.

I, after many years of marriage to Rob, diagnosed him
with adult ADD. He loses EVERYTHING all
of the time and can't remember anything.
To the point, I just roll my eyes when I hear...
" Have you seen my______?"
The blank can be filled in with just about anything EXCEPT
body parts because they don't come off. I say all of this lovingly...
just keeping it real!!!
So, I am heading to Palm Beach, Fl for 5 days to hang out
with my mom. I try to downplay my fear of him forgetting one of my
children and them being left at a ballpark/school/mall.... forever!

So...before I leave, I gather all of the girls clothes, hair things,
shoes etc... and label them with sticky notes with full directions
about the day they are to be worn. I write out a calendar with
all instructions of who needs to be dropped off and picked up,
the names of all Dr.s, all friends numbers, etc....
so there can be NO problems.

I alert EVERYONE to let them know I will be gone and to be
on watch for one of my babies in the event they are not picked up
by their father because...well...
he just can't remember!

Well...I am in PB having a great time BUT still calling home
to make sure everyone is accounted for and that my
book of instructions is being followed....
because that's how I roll...

Sooooooo.... I am laying on the gorgeous beach at the Omphoy
and send Rob a picture of my view...

and then....I get this text from him...

So this is funny--cPRIME is totally going crazy, kids, practice, dance, etc is WORK. Whole new level of respect for you :-)  So I'm dealing with RP deadlines for the Footlocker meeting, cPRIME nonstop calls and trying to mix in Zurvita only to realize I have to take Grace lunch--but we are out of everything and I don't have time to get to Chickfila because I had to get Ella at 11:45. So I run to the gas station and get A "gas station" ham and cheese, a bag of chips, an apple juice, and a pack of cookies and take it to her just in time (in a plastic gas station bag)  Oh yeah--and it was a $7 lunch :-)  Enjoy your nap!  FYI--it's 100 degrees in this house. They come tomorrow just in time for you to get home to a nice cool home :-) LOVE YOU!

Man I love him...I'm just sayin!!!!

I made it home.
 Everyone missed me.
  All were accounted for:)
 Life is good!!!

Stay tuned for a Michelle story:)
